Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults
We offer comprehensive speech and language evaluations, consultation and individualized intervention in one-to-one sessions. We work closely together with care takers, parents and teachers, as well as with our occupational and physical therapists.
We evaluate and treat children with:
- Language delay (receptive and expressive)
- Articulation and Phonological Process Disorders
- Fluency Disorders – stuttering / cluttering
- Tongue-Thrust-Therapy (myofunctional therapy)
- Auditory Processing Disorders (also in connection with difficulties in reading and writing)
- Feeding and Swallowing Disorders
- Hearing Impairment
We also offer the HANEN Program for Parents of Children with Language Delays “IT Takes TWO to TALK“
We evaluate and treat adults with:
- Aphasia
- Dysphagia (swallowing disorder)
- Dysarthria
- Verbal Apraxia
- Facial paralysis
- Voice Disorders
